Friday 28th February 2020

iSYSTEMS is proud to announce its attainment of Cyber Essentials Certification for the 4th consecutive year!

Cyber Essentials is a UK government information assurance scheme that is operated by the National Cyber Security Centre. The National Cyber Security Centre is an organisation under the UK government that provide advice and support for public and private organisations on how to avoid security threats online.

The scheme was developed in 2014 to help organisations protect themselves against common, low-level cybersecurity threats. Most cyber-attacks use transparent methods exploiting basic vulnerabilities in software and systems thus proper implementation of the scheme will protect against the majority of these threats.

The award of the certification to iSYSTEMS demonstrates our compliance and commitment to cyber security. Our customers can take further assurance knowing that the security of their data is of paramount importance for us.

This certification demonstrates that iSYSTEMS can defend against:

  • Hacking – The use of Widley available tools to exploit known vulnerabilities in internet connected devices
  • Phishing – A method used to trick users into installing or executing a malicious application
  • Password guessing – Either manual or automated attempts to guess passwords to log in from the internet

The iSYSTEMS team are delighted to retain this qualification within our collection and will continue to seek new ways to enhance our services and protect your data!
